This kit is to upgrade your automatic dual zone climate control with LED's whether the original bulbs are burnt out, or you want a custom look for your vehicle. SOLDERING IS REQUIRED
You will receive x11 5MM LED'S and x1 3MM LED in the color chosen. (x1 5MM is included as a spare for mistakes)
The longer leg on the LED is Positive, and shorter is Negative
Step 1- Remove the front temperature adjust knobs they will pull straight off
Step 2- Remove x4 screws from the back side of the climate control
Step 3- Pull climate control face apart from the rear assembly
Step 4- Remove all 11 original bulbs by de-soldering them
Step 5- Solder in new LED's according to polarity chart provided in the listing, flux is highly recommended
Step 6- Clean up any excess flux and reassemble in reverse of how it was taken apart
To determine which polarity chart to use please take note of where the large tan connector is located on your controller.
12 Volt DC LED cubes that are dimmable from 3-14 Volts. These LED's have the resistor built inside and will work from 3-14 Volts. Ideal for GM instrument clusters as these provide a very bright and even light output. Eliminate all lighting hot spots or dim areas as these shine every direction.
