NO SHIFT BOOT INCLUDED WITH SALE
This is a replacement shift boot bezel retainer for 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ's with the AX15, AX5 or NV3550 Transmission.
Made of ABS plastic and much thicker and reinforced in key areas opposed to the factory part that often breaks. Part you will receive will be BLACK, Blue color used in photo to highlight part.
Install factory boot with the overhang portion first, then gently pull the edges around the lip on the bezel to secure it.
Install in center console with seating the left side first then pushing straight down to secure the 4 mounting tabs.
To remove use a thin plastic pry tool or flat head screw driver roughly 1" from the edge on the bottom side and gently pry each side up.
